Netgear Firmware Update Not Downloading

There is a general feeliing that the satellite should be updated first.

Netgear firmware update not downloading. I can t seem to choose my satellite and when i do and choose update i g. After you click the update button do not try to go online turn off the router or do anything else to the router until it finishes restarting. To manually download firmware and update your device.

I m following the instructions exactly. Under firmware and software downloads look for the kit you want. Click firmware and software downloads.

You looked at the whole netgear website. This morning i tried uploading the new firmware v2 1 1 12 and when it finshes downloaing it tells me that the img file i m trying to download is incorrect file type i unzipped the file. I have looked online for the latest update but have failed to find it.

If you do not see a drop down menu make sure you entered your model number correctly or select a product category to browse for your product model. It is not even on the netgear website. If a drop down menu displays select your model.

Click choose file or browse then locate and select the firmware file that ends in img or chk.
