Netgear Router Firmware Update Hangs

Open the netgear genie software and click on router settings.

If new firmware is available click yes. Download the new firmware 5 4 2 33 from netgear product support web page and store it in local pc. Router and modem work fine otherwise work laptop phones etc just my ipad constantly disconnects.
