Netgear R7000 Firmware Update Problems

Don t forget to press the reset button located in the tiny hole at the back of the router for 30 seconds after you ve installed the firmware and manually re configure all your settings. If you wish to continue using any of these specific features do not update to firmware version v1 0 9 88 or later for the nighthawk ac1900 models. Imho you should not have to do a reset and reconfigure after a firmware update if the firmware is properly. R7000 problems since latest firmware update which firmware is stable should i revert to. The fact is tx power on wifi does vary from country to country and i m beginning to wonder if this is part of the problem with the r7000 ac1900.

Have had my router a few years and have always updated the firmware after i recieived email from netgear by going into the router settings on my desktop browser and clicking on check for firmware update then it would do it automatically. These updates were pretty great but at the cost of stability of the router firmware it was not worth it at all and that cause inconvenience to the users all across the world. Hopefully the wireless connection will remain stable enough.
